For quite some time, in the background, I’ve been working on getting an indie nail polish brand going. I’ve been working on mixing and testing and everything and finally it’s all about to come to fruition. This Friday, October 13th, 2017, my brand, Geekish Glitter Lacquer, is launching! I’m going to share some bottle shots of the polishes here. I don’t have much else but if you go and follow Geekish Glitter Lacquer on Instagram, you’ll see all of the swatches that were done by some great swatchers.
Have you ever noticed that I make posts about things that have been released and long gone for so long that it isn’t even funny? I’m not a reviewer or a swatcher. I’m an amateur blogger that does this at my own convenience. That would be exactly why I’m posting about this box that was released in October of 2016 and I just never was able to find the time to post about it. I’ve had these pictures for like six months at this point. Enjoy?
2016 has been over for a couple of weeks (thank goodness!) but I still wanted to touch on my favorite polishes of the year that I used. I went through my Instagram and found a few that stood out to me as my favorite polishes. You might notice a theme (I wear a lot of green) and also a few stand out brands (two in particular). So head on under the cut to see which polishes I considered my favorite last year!
Today I just wanted to feature a few polishes that I used from Dollish Polish’s Ultimate Fandom Collection! These polishes are so fun but I only have a few that I’m able to feature today. Dollish Polish has some of my favorite polishes because I really am a big fangirl deep down.
Hilarie of Living Dead Lacquer sent me some great products to try out and review for her upcoming grand re-opening of her line. I’ve been eagerly watching as she posting about products on her Instagram page and was very excited when she chose me to review some of her products!
She has a couple of products that will be coming out in many Fall and Halloween inspired scents. She has cuticle oil, cuticle balms, and mani bombs that she will be releasing in some amazing scents! I tested her products for a few days on naked nails to really be able to see how the products would work for me and I am impressed!
Today I have a review that I’ve been really excited for! These are polishes that I have been holding onto forever from My Indie Polish. The Anniversary Set is a duo of polishes that Tanya released to celebrate her 20th anniversary with her husband. The story behind them is fantastic! These are gorgeous polishes that I don’t want to take off my nails!
Let me start by saying that My Indie Polish is the first indie brand that I purchased from. I own many of Tanya’s polishes and I really adore all of them. They have all have great longevity, they are unique, and absolutely stunning. You can tell that Tanya cares about her business and the polishes that she produces.
Today I present to you the second part of my reviews of the polishes that I received from Frannie’s Nail Elixir. You remember how beautiful the last four polishes were? These are also equally as gorgeous! Just look at these colors. These are the remaining four polishes from the eight that I purchased from her.
Let me remind you a little bit about Frannie’s Nail Elixir. She makes these gorgeous handmade polishes. However she has closed her shop up for a few months so that she can focus more on her fiance’s health. She definitely has a heart of gold! Last I heard she planned to open her shop back up so I want to share her beautiful polishes.
